Amid the high-level discussions going on at the World Economic Forum in Davos has been a debate about how the international community tackles the problems of genocide and human rights abuses.
The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Luis Moreno Ocampo was part of those discussions.
Mr Ocampo believes the ICC, which was set up by the UN in 2002, can help in delivering global governance.
He spoke to the BBC's Zeinab Badawi about this and the ICC's investigation into post election violence in Kenya.
