Davos 2010: FSA chairman on averting 'market overheating'

Adair Turner, the chairman of the Financial Services Authority, says that banks should be forced to rein in lending to some sectors such as the commercial property when there are signs that a market is overheating.

Speaking to the BBC's Robert Peston at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he spoke of a need for a new official body which would have powers to deter lending in those circumstances.
