Cost of volcano-cancelled flights to UK

Travellers stranded by the volcanic ash cloud are dealing with additional costs because of cancelled flights - and many insurers do not cover natural disasters.

Meanwhile around 25% of the UK's imports and exports by value travel by air freight, and it is thought the stoppage could cost some £100m each day.
