Dubai has been given a financial lifeline by its oil-rich neighbour, Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi gave Dubai a $10bn bail-out to ease the pressure building up since it declared a shortfall in funding to meet its debts.
Dubai's difficulties created anxiety throughout the international markets.
