Cable challenges banks 'break-up'

Changes to Lloyds Banking Group and Royal Bank of Scotland have been outlined in the House of Commons by Chancellor Alistair Darling.

They involve another £30bn pounds of taxpayers' money being pumped into the banks and the sell-off of parts of the businesses.

Liberal Democrats Treasury spokesman Vince Cable challenged the way in which it had been handled.
