Darling defends bank sale plans

Chancellor Alistair Darling has said parts of banks bailed out by the taxpayer will only be sold "when the time is right".

Mr Darling was speaking to the BBC's Politics Show about the government's plans to create three new High Street banking chains by 2015, by selling off parts of Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds and Northern Rock.
