Business Minister Pat McFadden MP has criticised the Communication Workers' Union (CWU) decision to go ahead with planned strikes, saying that "no clear reason" had been given for the action.
Mr McFadden also denied allegations made by the CWU that "external forces", including Business Secretary Lord Mandelson, were responsible for the failure to resolve the dispute.
