ITV has sold Friends Reunited to Brightsolid Limited for £25m, despite having paid £175m for it.
The announcement came with the release of half-yearly pre-tax losses of £105m.
The BBC's Emma Simpson asked ITV's chief operating officer, John Cresswell, whether buying Friends Reunited had been the right strategy.
