Osborne on quantitative easing

The Bank of England is to inject seventy-five billion pounds of new money into the economy, in an effort to increase the supply of credit and encourage more lending.

The policy is called quantitative easing - it's the first time it's ever been tried here.

Shadow Chancellor George Osborne says it's a risky venture.
