He probably has the signature with the most exposure in the UK, but you would be unlikely to recognise him if you passed him in the street.
Andrew Bailey is the Chief Cashier at the Bank of England and it is his name that appears on each of the 3.2 billion English banknotes issued since 2004.
He is the 30th person to hold the post since the Bank of England was established in 1694.
