Sir Nigel Rudd is arguably the best connected member of the British corporate establishment, as Deputy Chairman of Barclays, a director of BAE Systems, the defence group, and chairman of BAA, owner of London�s Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.

In this weeks Leading Questions, he tells the BBC�s Business Editor Robert Peston how he climbed to the top, having left school at 15 and having come from a working class background in Derby.
