Sales are up 19% at fashion firm Burberry, thanks to a focus on luxury goods retail and a concerted push further into world markets. The company said it brought in �850m ($1.7bn) in the year to 31 March, with sales in its retail outlets driving the increase.
Burberry is known for its signature brown, black and red check fabrics.
The firm has run into controversy in the UK after closing a plant in Treorchy, South Wales.
