 Disney says its success is due to "incredible creativity" |
Entertainment firm Walt Disney posted strong quarterly profits, thanks to good results from its movie division, media networks and theme parks. Disney said fourth-quarter net profit was $782m (�410m), more than double the $379m of a year before.
Revenue was up 14% to $8.8bn from $7.7 bn the same time a year ago.
"Disney had a spectacular year, posting record revenues, record net income, and record cash flow," said the firm's president and chief executive Bob Iger.
"It is a result of the incredible creativity at our company," he added.
