Chairman and founder of the US computer maker Dell, Michael Dell, has handed over the top executive job to president Kevin Rollins. The title was transferred at the firm's annual shareholders meeting, which heard that second-quarter earnings forecasts have been raised.
Mr Dell started Dell in 1984 while studying at the University of Texas.
The new forecast reflects higher operating profits and lower global tax, company officials said.
