Lastminute sells cut-price tickets and package holidays
Lastminute.com is to buy rival internet firm Online Travel in a move that will further expand its travel business.

The holidays-to-theatre tickets web retailer said it would pay about 55m ($103m) for Online Travel.

The deal follows UK-based Lastminute's 40m takeover last year of car rental firm Holiday Autos Group.

Online Travel has a customer base of more than 15 million online users through its own websites and partnerships with other travel firms.

Lastminute said it expected the deal to boost its earnings in the current financial year.
