Center Parcs
The resort firm runs four centres in the UK
UK holiday village operator Center Parcs is to be floated on the stock market after being sold for 285m.

Center Parcs' owner, private equity firm MidOcean Partners, sold the holiday firm to Arbor, a company specially created for the deal.

Arbor will float its shares on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) next week.

Center Parcs currently operates four holiday parks in the UK and employs about 4,000 staff.

Its parks are at Elveden Forest in Suffolk, Longleat Forest near Bath, Oasis Whinfell Forest in the Lake District and Sherwood Forest near Nottingham.

Arbor is to rename itself Centre Parcs UK Group following the flotation.

MidOcean has already sold its 50% stake in Center Parcs Europe - the operator of holiday parks in the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany - for 189m.
