| Wednesday, 28 November, 2001, 14:30 GMT Vodafone shakes up Japan Telecom Vodafone has appointed one of its own managers to take the helm at its subsidiary Japan Telecom. William Morrow, the 42-year old manager of Vodafone Japan, will replace Haruo Murakami on 21 December. Vodafone has also nudged aside more than half of Japan Telecom's board members as it seeks to shake up its subsidiary. "I am a results-focused individual...it's necessary for us to be incredibly focused, to be strategic and have excellent execution," said Mr Morrow.
