Slug and Lettuce chain to double in size
Pub group SFI has brought 28 Parisa Cafe Bars in a deal that will enable it to almost double the size of its Slug and Lettuce chain.

SFI - formerly known as Surrey Free Inns - is one of the country's fastest growing pub companies.

It aims to expand the Slug and Lettuce branded bar chain from 32 sites to 60 next May.

The company has been looking for a strategic acquisition after it walked away from buying Wolverhampton and Dudley's Pitcher and Piano chain earlier this year because of the 70m asking price.
