South Korea's navy is hunting for 46 sailors still missing after the naval patrol vessel Cheonan sank on Friday in one of the country's worst naval disasters.
These marines are among those being scrambled to the area.
Relatives of the missing sailors are anxiously waiting for news...
As the hours pass, hope of finding any survivors is running out and some already fear the worst.
Some 58 crew members have reportedly been rescued - it is believed that some were found on these life rafts.
The Cheonan - whose overturned hull is here on the left - sank after an unexplained explosion ripped through it near the disputed border with North Korea.
President Lee Myung-bak has said all possible causes of the sinking would be investigated. But officials are downplaying initial suspicions that North Korea may have been involved.
