Money for Mekong River nations

The first ever summit between Japan and the Mekong river nations has ended with Tokyo pledging $5.5 bn in loans and grants for the five countries.

The projects include developing ports, airports and power lines in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Burma.
