Aid workers have been moving into villages in Sumatra, where thousands of homes were destroyed by an earthquake on Wednesday.
As many as 3,000 people were killed in the disaster, and around 180,000 homes were destroyed.
Reverend Tim Costello, World Vision Australia's CEO, said some people who had lost their homes had no money or insurance to rebuild.
