A tsunami triggered by a powerful quake under the Pacific Ocean has killed scores of people in Samoa and American Samoa.
Most of the dead so far have been reported in Samoa. Its prime minister said he was shocked at the devastation.
Officials in Samoa say the death toll could rise when more remote coastal areas are reached.
In American Samoa, waves of up to 6m (20ft) roared up to 1.6km (1 mile) inland, carrying vehicles and debris and flattening villages in some areas.
People living in coastal areas fled to higher ground to escape the waves, which were generated by an 8.3-magnitude quake.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued an alert to the wider region, but it was cancelled a few hours later.
