Demonstrators have marched in Hong Kong in protest at the Tiananmen Square killings in Beijing in June 1989, in one of the few such events on Chinese soil.
Hundreds, possibly thousands, of people were killed in China's crackdown on pro-democracy protests.
There has been no official inquiry so the exact death toll remains unclear.
Among those marching on Sunday, Martin Lee, the founder of the Hong Kong Democratic Party, said people would continue to fight for justice for the "students who gave up their lives for their country".
Lee Cheuk-Yan, a pro-democracy activist, added that the march would send a message to the government that the Chinese people "want change, we want democracy."
