Fourth of June marks the 20th anniversary of the brutal crackdown of China's 1989 pro-democracy demonstrations. The student-led protests, which started in April, grew throughout May until early June, when troops were sent in, killing hundreds of protesters. We would like to hear from people in China about the legacy of what happened in Tiananmen Square and how the country has changed since then. What are your memories of the events of 1989? What is the legacy of the Tiananmen Square protests? Were you born in 1989? What do you know about what happened and how it changed China? Send us your stories and experiences using the form below.
