Anti-government protests in Bangkok

Protesters have gathered in the Thai capital, Bangkok, for their latest bid to force the Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, from office.

The protestors are mainly supporters of the former premier, Thaksin Shinawatra, who faces a jail term for alleged corruption if he returns to Thailand.
