Man hid in bunker to avoid fires

Steven Vanroy has spoken about how he and his friends escaped rapidly approaching wildfires by seeking shelter in a concrete bunker.

Speaking to Australia's ABC news, he described their near escape from the "enormous flames".

At least 180 people have been killed since the fires began on Saturday.
