I'm going to vote for the candidate who withdraws our forces from Iraq - and that is the policy of the Democratic Party of Japan. | MEET THE PANEL Name: Kozo Matsuda Age: 49 Lives:Nagasaki Works: Local reporter Voting intention: Democratic Party of Japan

Koizumi has tried to set postal reform as the agenda for the general election but foreign policy is the issue that I am worried about. This war is America's war and I believe our forces should come back to Japan.
I happen to agree with Koizumi's view that the postal system needs changing - but we should not decide elections on a single issue.
As a local reporter I meet all kinds of people and I understand how ordinary people feel about issues that affect our country.
Agriculture is one such issue. Koizumi is a politician for big cities. But we need to increase our agricultural yields and think about how people in rural areas live.
Japan also has a suicide problem. Just this month, three school children killed themselves in Nagasaki. Approximately 30,000 people kill themselves every year in Japan - it claims more lives than traffic accidents.
I feel that Koizumi is a politician only for the strong. He needs to invest more in mental health issues.
Koizumi needs to be judged on four years of policy and not on one idea for reforming the postal system.
