Thousands of people in Hong Kong have taken part in a protest against plans for development on the city's harbour. Environmentalists say such projects will destroy Hong Kong's heritage and damage its tourism industry.
Crowds gathered in the Central district, where reclamation resumed earlier this month following a court ruling against the environmentalists.
More than half the surface area of Hong Kong harbour has been reclaimed for development over the past 100 years.
Organisers said 20,000 people joined the march from Central along the harbour front to Wanchai, but police put the turnout far lower.
The protest followed a court ruling this month that gave the government permission to go ahead with the 18-hectare (44-acre) reclamation, which it says is needed for a new road.
