China oil spill as tankers collide

The Chinese authorities say that an oil spill on the Huangpu River in Shanghai has been fenced off to prevent further pollution.

The Xinhua news agency said that the spill followed the sinking of an oil tanker after a freighter bumped into a dock, causing several tankers to collide.

One person is reported to be missing and two slightly injured after the accident on Sunday.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
