Obama starts to build his team

Barack Obama has begun to put the first building blocks in place for his new administration.

The President-elect started by asking Rahm Emanuel, a former adviser to President Clinton, to be his chief-of-staff.

Meanwhile President Bush has called on his team to help Mr Obama achieve a "seamless transition of power".
