The benefit concert Hope for Haiti was hosted by George Clooney who said the Haitian people needed to know "they are not alone".
Haitian-born Wyclef Jean, who set up the charity foundation Yele Haiti, performed draped in a Haitian flag.

Robert De Niro took donations from the public for the Haiti earthquake victims: more money will be raised through the sale of songs performed on the show.
