Violence as earthquake aid is dispersed in Haiti

A stick-wielding gang have attacked Haitians waiting for aid at a food distribution centre on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince.

Over a thousand people had been waiting for the distribution of food when the mob of men attacked. Despite pockets of violence like this, aid drops have started to get food and supplies to desperate people in rural parts of Haiti.
