An elderly woman is rescued alive after seven days trapped under rubble at the Roman Catholic Cathedral, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The woman, Anna Zizi, was freed by a team of Mexican firemen who had flown in to help.

"It was an amazing thing to witness," said Sarah Wilson, of Christian Aid, who sent this video to BBC News.

"No one could believe she was still alive. It seems rescuers were communicating with her and managing to get water to her through a tube. She was singing when she emerged. Everyone clapped and cheered."
