US troops land at Haiti's presidential palace

US Navy helicopters have landed in the grounds of the collapsed presidential palace in Port-au-Prince, dropping off scores of troops.

Captain Steve McInerney of aircraft carrier the USS Carl Vinson, tells the BBC's Ben Brown about the important role played by helicopters in the relief operation.
