Aid worker's 50-hour ordeal in quake rubble

An aid worker has described being trapped for 50 hours without food or water in the debris of a hotel in the earthquake-ravaged capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince.

Rick Santos, 47, who heads the international aid group IMA World Health, said he was rescued by French fire fighters just as he was preparing himself for another ''horrible'' night in pitch blackness.
