US security officials are questioning a man after they say he tried to blow up a trans-Atlantic flight, carrying nearly 300 people.
The incident happened onboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253, as it was coming in to land in Detroit from Amsterdam.
President Obama has ordered security to be stepped up at American airports
