McCain worried at withdrawal date

Senator John McCain has welcomed President Obama's announcement on an increase in troops in Afghanistan but has expressed concern at the setting of a date for withdrawal.

Speaking to the Senate Armed Services Committee, Mr McCain said an "arbitrary date for withdrawal sends exactly the wrong message".
