Barack Obama has paid tribute to former US President Bill Clinton and former US Vice-President Al Gore for their success in bringing two US journalists home from detention in North Korea.
Laura Ling and Euna Lee were pardoned after Mr Clinton visited Pyongyang.
Mr Obama said all Americans should be grateful to the two men for their ''extraordinary'' work.
