Sarah Palin takes swipe at media

Less than a year after running as the Republican vice-presidential candidate in the US election, Sarah Palin has stepped down as governor of Alaska.

As she resigned, the self-declared "hockey mom" spoke of the successes of her policies in the state - but couldn't resist a final dig at the mainstream media.
