Cash-strapped Cuba imposes cuts

The Cuban government has imposed drastic cuts in imports and has ordered tough austerity measures as the global financial crisis starts to hit the communist island's state-run economy.

Cubans face cut-backs in electricity and public transport as well as shortages in the shops.

Michael Voss reports from Havana.
