Air France families at crisis centre

Families have begun arriving at a crisis centre at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris after an Air France plane carrying 228 people disappeared.

The plane from Brazil to France has vanished over the Atlantic after a possible lightning strike, airline officials have said.

Speaking to the BBC, aviation expert Chris Yates said that if the plane had crashed into the sea "the likelihood of survivability is limited".
