The US state of California has returned three Renaissance paintings that were confiscated from Jewish art dealers in Nazi Germany during the 1930s.
California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said it was "an enormous privilege and honour" to return the art to the family of Jakob and Rosa Oppenheimer.
