Nato woos Russia on Afghanistan

Hillary Clinton is in Brussels for her first formal meeting with Nato counterparts as US secretary of state.

At the Brussels meeting, Mrs Clinton called for a high-level conference on Afghanistan at the end of the month.

She said the conference, or 'big tent' meeting, would aim to bring together all the countries and organisations with a stake in Afghanistan, including Iran.
