Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr has denied that he is a target of the investigation into Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.
Mr Blagojevich was arrested on charges that he tried to "sell" Barack Obama's Senate seat.
Federal agents quoted by ABC News named Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr as the man who offered Mr Blagojevich the money.
