Obama calls for jobs rescue plan

Barack Obama has asked his economic advisers to come up with a recovery plan to create 2.5 million jobs.

In a weekly Democratic address, he warned there would be no quick or easy fixes to the economic crisis, which he believed was likely to get worse before it got better.
