Hurricane Gustav arrives in Haiti

Hurricane Gustav has made landfall over Haiti, bringing heavy rains and winds to the vulnerable state.

On the other side of the island, in neighbouring Dominican Republic, rain has already flooded some of the slums of Santo Domingo.
