Ongoing operations on the US-Canada border aim to ensure Canadian organised crime groups cannot smuggle terrorist materials into the US.

The sophisticated criminal gangs usually trade in drugs and counterfeit goods, but authorities fear they may one day be paid to transport terror into the US. Humphrey Hawksley reports.
