Chile and Argentina boost trade ties
Chile and Argentina have signed a series of agreements aimed at improving trade between the two countries and making it easier for citizens of each country to cross their shared border.

The agreements were reached during a brief visit by the Argentine President, Eduardo Duhalde, to the Chilean capital, Santiago.

After holding talks with his Chilean counterpart, Ricardo Lagos, Mr Duhalde said he wanted to thank him and the Chilean people for their support during Argentina's economic crisis.
