The alternative plans were unveiled at Federal Hall  The first concept proposes a plaza with a memorial building on the western edge (Image: LMDC)  Another would see a 10-acre square created, surrounded by 10-storey buildings (Image: LMDC)  One of the proposals envisages a triangular public open space, with memorial and commercial buildings nearby (Image: LMDC)  Proposal four suggests a four-acre open space bordered by five new office buildings (Image: LMDC)  Memorial Promenade would feature trees to remember each victim of the terror attacks (Image: LMDC)  The sixth proposal would see the creation of a six-acre park surrounded by museums and cultural buildings (Image: LMDC) | |
