Robbery theory in Zulu prince's murder
Police in South Africa say that robbery may have been the motive in the killing of a member of the Zulu royal house, Prince Thokozani Zulu, a cousin of Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini.
Prince Thokozani, who was twenty-six, was found dead near his parents' palace in Nongoma, on Friday.
He had been stoned to death. A police spokesman said that the prince, who was a teacher, could have been the victim of robbery because teachers in the district are paid on Thursdays.
He said that another teacher had been robbed at the same time. Earlier this month, another member of the Zulu royal house, Cyril Zulu, was shot dead near Durban.
Police say they believe that killing had a political motive.
